5 Tips To Get Back On Track | Frustration

Yesterday, it felt like getting the normally simplest things done was impossible ๐Ÿคฏ. It was a "drop the mic" moment because I was totally done๐ŸŽค. I don't know if you've every felt that way -- like there's just so much resistance when you're to getting things done?

Well for me ๐˜ณ๐˜ฆ๐˜ด๐˜ช๐˜ด๐˜ต๐˜ข๐˜ฏ๐˜ค๐˜ฆ is always a sign that I'm not where I need to be.ย ย Instead of getting frustrated and defeated here are 5 Tips for what I do to get back on track (I call them my 5Rs):

5 Tips To Get Back On Track

1) ๐—ฅ๐—ฒ๐˜€๐˜๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด - taking a break is so important to clear out the mind jams and gives you time to ask God for guidance

2) ๐—ฅ๐—ฒ๐—ณ๐—น๐—ฒ๐—ฐ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด - taking time to ask your inner self if what your doing what you really should be doing or can it wait, be done better?

3) ๐—ฅ๐—ฒ๐—ฑ๐—ถ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ฐ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด - my attention and energy invariably needs to be redirected to where God wants me to be, with family friends, sometimes a phone call to check in on a loved one or words of encouragement to a co-worker is what is needed. 4) ๐—ฅ๐—ฒ๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐—ด๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ถ๐˜‡๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป - it's important to be flexible. Sometimes things take a little longer than expected and that event or self imposed deadline needs to get pushed back. It'll be okay.

5) ๐—ฅ๐—ฒ๐˜€๐—ฒ๐˜ - your priorities and you'll find that you are back on track. ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿฝ Learning how to treat myself well came gradually over the years and has helped me to enjoy a better balanced and full life spent with family and friends and doing what I love to do which includes writing and the work I do making healthy hair and scalp products.
